The first meeting was titled “Women’s Dialogue Without Borders.” Its participants hope they have started a new tradition and plan to hold such events monthly. They call on other individuals and organizations to join the initiative.

Their ultimate goal is to improve living conditions for people on both sides of the contact line.

Petition of the campaign:
  • 1.
    Lifting of the economic blockade.
  • 2.
    Increasing the number of checkpoints to/from the non-government-controlled territories, equipped with safe waiting areas and access to humanitarian services:toilets with baby-changing tables and hand-washing facilities, drinking water, heating points, and shelters in case of shelling. Organization of emergency medical aid stations at all entry–exit checkpoints at the state’s expense.
  • 3.
    Resumption of direct railway and bus connections between the temporarily non-government-controlled territories and the territory of Ukraine, in both directions.
  • 4.
    Ceasefire by both sides to ensure the safety of civilians. Transition to a peaceful resolution of the conflict through negotiations (and compliance with the Minsk Agreements).
  • 5.
    Inclusion of representatives of civil society (women’s, peacebuilding, and human rights organizations) in the negotiation process at all levels.
  • 6.
    Guarantee of safety for all participants in dialogue and negotiation processes on both sides of the conflict.
